Making extra money is something most all of us need at one point or another. During the pandemic the need for many has become greater. Making money from your house could be an option for some.
Rent Out a Spare Room
If you have an extra bedroom look into renting it out or getting a roommate to help offset your housing expenses.
Renting Your Entire House
If your going on vacation yourself or are out of town for extended periods of time renting out your home through room sharing apps like Airbnb might be worth checking out.
Storage
Have a large garage or shed. Why not rent out some of that space to other that need a space to store their stuff.
Photo Ops
Have a farmhouse? Brownstone? Unique abode? Let companies use it to film commercials or use for advertising photos. Much like the prop business, that advertising needs to happen someplace. Might as well make a buck on it.
Camping Out
Have a large lot? Let someone park their camper on it. Whether they stay in it at the time or not it has to be stored somewhere.
Rent a Spot
Got extra room to park? Don’t have a car yourself? Let others park their car in your spot an earn some money in the process.
These are just a few ways to make money from your home.
Be sure to look into your local laws and zoning rules before attempting to profit with any of these though. Doesn’t help your wallet much if you end up paying fines for something your not allowed to do.
