North Myrtle beach is located on the northern end of the Grand Strand beaches of South Carolina. Some of the most spectacular beaches in the United States. South of Wilmington, North Carolina and just north of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Like many other tourist locations, North Myrtle Beach, has everything you can imagine to do, see, or eat. More family oriented than it’s neighbor to the south. The beaches have a quieter feel to them.

Water Sports
With most locations along the coast, water sports are very popular along the Grand Strand. Some of the most popular in the North Myrtle Beach area are Shark Wake Floating Water Park, Go Ape Zip Line, Aloha Water Sports, Atlantic Water Sports, New Wave Water Sports, Myrtle Beach Water Sports, Kokopelli Surf Group, Great Escapes Kayak Expeditions, and J & L Kayaks.
Fishing
Fishing is a popular pastime anywhere along the coast. The Grand Strand area is no different. Up and down the coast are plenty of places and businesses that focus on folks wanting to enjoy a day of fishing. Some of these include Calabash Fishing Fleet, Little River Fishing Fleet, Voyage Day Sea Fishing, Coastal Carolina Intracoastal Charters.
Fishing Piers also offer some great fishing experiences. Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, where a world record tiger shark was caught in 1964 weighing 1,78 lbs and just shy of 14 feet. Other fishing piers in the area include the Apache Campground Pier, the pier at Myrtle Beach State Park, 14th Avenue Pier, and the 2nd Avenue Pier.

Entertainment, Attractions, and Shows
North Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas is full of great entertainment. There’s something for everyone no matter your age. Alabama Theater, and House of Blues, are full of shows from performers of all kinds. Alligator Adventure, a wildlife park full of reptiles. The “Big M” Casino an off shore casino ship. Events throughout the year include many festivals and parades including Little River Shrimp Festival, World Famous Blue Crab Festival, Coastal Highland Games, Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam, and the Carolina Country Music Festival a yearly music festival that features numerous top acts. Wineries such as Duplin Winery and La Belle Amie Vineyard.
When visiting you can choose from numerous houses, apartments, condos, campgrounds or hotels for a place to stay. For rentals you can find many homes and hotels through VRBO or Airbnb or hotel discount sites like any other resort areas.
